Clean Corrugated Cardboard. You can tell the difference by looking to see if it has multiple layers, two outer layers with a inner wavy layer in between them.
Cardboard Does Not Include paperboard. Paperboard is a thicker single layered paper that is used on common products such as cereal boxes, frozen food, paper takeout containers etc.. Please do not put food or oil saturated cardboard, such as pizza boxes or cooking oil boxes, in the recycling containers.
Recyclable plastic include #1 and #2 plastic with necks. For example, clear plastic water bottles, milk jugs, detergent bottles
Plastic such as plastic bags, darker plastic drink bottles, takeout containers, takeout cups, microwave dinner plates, motor oil and frying oil containers. Even though some thin shiny white bottles look similar, they are not all #1 and #2 plastic.
Bagged white shredded paper can be recycled at the Greentree Solid Waste Authority location.
Although GSWA does not pay for metal, it can be dropped off at no charge. All recycling that we pay for is listed below. When bringing in copper, ID is required, GSWA Does Not accept copper wire that has not been removed from the outer casing.
