The following items can be recycled in Ruidoso and Lincoln County:

Fluorescent Bulbs
Fluorescent bulbs that are 1" round, and in lengths of 2' and 4' accepted.  When binding bulbs, use twine or other non sticky material. Do not use tape, as the sticky residue damages the machine used to recycle the bulbs.
Large Household Appliances*
Newspapers and Newsprint

    The paint must be in still usable condition for GSWA to take it at NO Charge. If the paint is more than 6 months old or has been frozen please open the lid so it can dry out. You can search the web for other ways to properly dispose of unusable paint.
